This year's online Event of Tool and Plastics Processing INNOFORM® took place 20-22th April 2021.

On the first day was organized the international conference:Tool and plastics processing industry after COVID-19 pandemic and its further development, during which were held two discussion panels:

The first concerned the analysis of the current situation in companies during the pandemic, difficulties faced by entrepreneurs and the possibilities of their further development. The role of the tool industry in the economic development of the region and the entire country was also raised. As introduction to the discussion was the presentation of the results of the first edition of the report on the current situation and the potential of the tool industry development.

In the second panel, the main topic was changes in the European Union legislation, introducing a new approach to material management - the circular economy. The subject was among others the role of the application of the ECO-DESIGN at the stage of designing tools for plastics processing. Experiences and challenges related to the work of tools during the processing of biodegradable plastics, environmental issues at the stage of cleaning tool molds and the issues of recycling of heterogeneous and biodegradable plastics were also discussed. The panelists included representatives of the administration and the world of science and business operating at each stage of the product life cycle.

On the second day took place Virtual Brokerage Event organized by the Enterprise Europe Network Centeroperating at Toruńska Agencja Rozwoju Regionalnego S.A. Over 120 participants registered for the event, 79 bilateral meetings were organized, including 69 international meetings. The participants included representatives from Poland, Germany, Turkey, Romania, Slovakia, Italy, Bulgaria and China. A large group of companies came from the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship (15), as befits the host. Kujawsko-Pomorskie companies held 26 meetings with foreign partners at the event.

Moreover, on the second and third day took place business presentations related to the latest technologies and products for the molding industry. The organizers have also prepared an e-platform for industry products and services, which will be available on the event's website until 30th June 2021. All interested parties are encourage to contact the exhibitors, as well as to watch the report of the event, which will soon be available on the website www.innoform.pl.
