Bydgoszcz Industrial Cluster is one of the partners of the project implemented by a consortium of clusters and universities from the following countries: Germany (MERGE Cluster of Excellence – the Leader), the Czech Republic, Holland, Spain, Italy and Belgium.

The aim of the project is to establish the European partnership of clusters dealing with the issues of lightweight construction. The project consist of two phases. Within the first one (until the end of 2016) an international cooperation strategy and three research topics will be developed, that will be realized in the second phase (2017-2019).

Among the consortium there will be some other research topics developed, which will be the basis for preparation of the proposals in international EU funding programs such as Horizon 2020 and CORNET.

The first visit of partners in Bydgoszcz is planned for June 2016.
